5 FACTS ABOUT ME

  1. Fanny : the name Fanny has different meanings in other countries and languages. In Italian, French, English and Latin it is a baby girls name which means free. In Greek it derives from some goddess meaning light.                                                                                                                                                
  2. Food lover: I enjoy eating new dishes. Hence, I have taken it upon myself to learn how to cook different food because I get tired of eating the same foods easily. 
  3. Second born: being a middle child is hard to define. (DO NOT HAVE ANY RECENT PICTURES WITH MY SIBLINGS)
  4. Natural hair: I no longer apply heat to my hair to reduce on breakage and majorly in appreciate my natural hair as it is. 
  5. Languages: I enjoy learning different languages for some reason. I know the basics to French, German and Italian. I would say Turkish but dang!

SOLO DATES: NURTURING MY SOUL AND EMBRACING LIFE

 Life has a way of throwing us into a whirlwind of responsibilities, stress and never ending to do lists. It is easy to feel overwhelmed  and lost in the chaos. But guess what? I have discovered a secret escape, a little slice of heaven that i gift myself- my solo dates. Imagine this: a world buzzing with hurried footsteps, blaring horns and in the midst of it all, theres me, seeking solace in the simple joy of a solo date. It has become my go-to remedy when life's pressures start weighing me down. And let me tell you, it works like magic. So, what exactly do I do on these solo dates? I have no specific restaurant to retreat to, but I am more drawn to cafés, the cozy types to be specific. Finding happiness, Progress and Weight gain journey.

  Thinking back to 2014, memories of living free and being completely happy come back to mind. It was a year of many open doors and opportunities. Four years later I could barely enjoy doing anything as school had managed to take the life out of me. Nevertheless, being home has allowed me time to reflect and honestly find happiness within. Part of this journey meant that I had to start putting effort and more time into the things I loved. I.e writing.  Many a times we forget how blessed we are. If you and I have a talent why not use it for the greater good and share it with others? It could have a positive impact on them. I found the will to motivate myself to start writing again. Writing because I enjoy it and I thought my thoughts were worthy to be read by another. So week after week, I put in progress.
